Yiqing Xu

Yiqing Xu is an assistant professor in political methodology at the UC San Diego Department of Political Science.  His research focuses on political methodology and positive political economy, with a special focus on development and institutions in authoritarian countries, especially China.  He received a Ph.D. in political science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an M.A. in economics from China Center for Economic Research (CCER) at Peking University and a B.A. in economics from Fudan University.
