For Students
We offer a centralized career management tool for students, alumni and employers called GPSCareers. Students and alumni are able to create a profile, register for events, search our employer and contacts database, and apply for current job and internship postings. Employers are able to create or update organization and contact profiles, and post jobs and internships.
We understand that our international students may have unique internship and job search challenges. Every year we offer career programs, events and services designed specifically for them.
The GPS Alumni Office Hours Program gives students the opportunity to regularly meet with alumni working in their areas of interest.
Additional job postings, assessments, career fairs and on-site employer interviews are offered at UC San Diego Career Center and complement our services.
Services for International Students
International Services and Engagement Office (ISEO) provides services and engagement opportunities that are open to all, with a focus on our international faculty, research scholars, staff, students and families.

Larger alumni-student networking events include winter and spring connections. These events incorporate career talks and each year generates several interviews, internship and employment offers from alumni across all sectors.
Connecting with Employers
Students have the opportunity to meet, interview with and connect with professionals from organizations and companies around the world. Annual career fairs are conducted in collaboration with other universities, along with on-campus information and recruitment sessions and company site visits.
