Anna Feuer

Assistant Teaching Professor; Director, International Studies Program

Anna Feuer is an assistant teaching professor at the School of Global Policy and Strategy and the director of the International Studies Program. Her research is in international security, focusing on insurgency and counterinsurgency, defense technology, war and the environment, and military ethics. She received a Ph.D. in political science from Yale University. As a Marshall Scholar, she studied international history and politics at Oxford and the School of Oriental and African Studies. Before joining UC San Diego, Feuer was the Julian Steward Chair of the Social Sciences at Deep Springs College in eastern California.
