Samuel Bozzette

Visiting Scholar

Bozzette is an visiting scholar at the School, a senior natural scientist at the RAND and currently serves as vice president of Medical Affairs-Americas at bioMerieuxs. 

He is board-certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases, and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the Infectious Diseases Society of America. Bozzette is an elected member of the American Society for Clinical Investigation, the Association of American Physicians and the Pacific Council on International Policy (the western affiliate of the Council on Foreign Relations).

He has a strong record of clinical, translational, outcomes and health economics research, resulting in over 150 publications cited over 4,000 times, including over a dozen in the New England Journal of Medicine. Several of these studies significantly changed clinical practice or policy, including related guidelines, rules and laws.
